One contract, one record

From first draft to renewal

  1. 01

    Draft

Start from an approved template or your clause library, in Arabic, English or both side by side.

  2. 02

    Approve

Route by contract type, department or value in SAR. Nothing goes out for signature until it is approved.

  3. 03

    Sign

E-signature is built in: OTP-verified signers, a PAdES seal and a bilingual certificate of completion.

  4. 04

    Track obligations

Payments, deliverables and reports become dated obligations with owners, reminders and evidence.

  5. 05

    Renew

Expiry reminders at 90, 60, 30 and 7 days, auto-renewals and a clear view of what expires when.

Built for how Saudi teams contract

Arabic first, SAR values, Hijri dates and Saudi registration numbers — not a translated Western tool.

Arabic templates and a clause library

Bilingual templates with fill-in fields and approved clauses. Generated PDFs render Arabic correctly — shaping, diacritics and right-to-left layout — with no copy-paste from Word. A starter library includes Saudi governing-law and data-protection clauses for your counsel to review.

Approvals by type, department and value

Rules such as "service contracts over SAR 500,000 need Legal, then the CFO". Sequential steps, any-of approvers per step, and the person who submits a contract can never approve it.

Versions and internal comments

Every revision is a numbered version, and the version that went out for signature is locked. Discuss clauses internally with @mentions — counterparties never see these comments.

E-signature built in

Send for signature from the contract itself. Signers need no account; they verify with a one-time code. Each signed PDF carries a PAdES seal, an RFC 3161 timestamp and a bilingual certificate of completion with the full audit timeline.

Obligations and renewals, in Hijri too

Dates show in Gregorian and Hijri. Owners get reminders before obligations fall due and before contracts expire, and completing an obligation can require evidence such as a delivery note or payment receipt.

Counterparties the Saudi way

Each counterparty keeps its CR or unified 700 number and VAT number, Arabic and English names, and every contract you hold with it — renewals included.

AI assistant — off until you turn it on

Summaries in Arabic and English, key-term extraction with quotes checked against the contract, risk flags against your own playbook, and AI drafting and section-by-section revision you accept or reject. An owner or admin switches it on; only then is contract text sent to the AI provider (Groq, United States).

Webhooks into your CRM or ERP

Signed requests for 21 signing, contract and obligation events — contract signed, expiring, renewed, obligation overdue — with retries and a delivery log.

What SahlSign does not offer yet

  • Signatures backed by a certificate from a DGA-licensed provider (often with Nafath identity verification) — needed for some regulated instruments.
  • Hosting inside the Kingdom. If you must keep data in Saudi Arabia, tell us before subscribing and we confirm in writing where it is stored and whether we can meet the requirement.
  • A public REST API — in early access. Webhooks are live today.

Frequently asked questions

What is contract management software?

It keeps every contract in one place through its whole life: drafting from approved templates, internal approval, signature, then tracking obligations, expiry and renewal. SahlSign does all of this with e-signature built in, in Arabic and English.

Does it work in Arabic?

Yes. The interface, templates, generated contracts and signing pages are Arabic-first with true right-to-left layout, and contracts can be Arabic-only, English-only or bilingual side by side.

Are electronically signed contracts recognised in Saudi Arabia?

Saudi Arabia’s Electronic Transactions Law (Royal Decree M/18) recognises electronic signatures, and SahlSign’s certificate of completion records the evidence behind each one: signer verification, audit timeline, document hashes and timestamp. Some regulated instruments require a signature linked to a certificate from a DGA-licensed provider (often with Nafath identity verification); SahlSign does not offer that tier yet, so check with counsel for those documents.

Can it remind us before a contract renews automatically?

Yes. Each contract has a renewal notice period; the owner is reminded at 90, 60, 30 and 7 days before expiry, and contracts set to auto-renew roll forward on their expiry date unless you act.

Does the AI read our contracts?

Only if an owner or admin turns AI on for your organisation. Until then no contract text leaves SahlSign for AI. When it is on, the text needed for the feature you use goes to Groq in the United States; we log only request metadata, and the AI never changes a contract — people accept every change.

Where is our data stored?

Today documents, audit records and the application are hosted outside the GCC; SahlSign does not host inside the Kingdom yet. If your organisation must keep data in Saudi Arabia, contact us before subscribing and we confirm in writing whether we can meet the requirement.
